MUSK Z4
Created in 1998 by IFF, MUSK Z4 is a sensual, soft macrocyclic musk, powdered with slightly more animal tones, less sandalwood, with metallic powdery facets, extremely fine. Quite powerful, it is a nice note of musky animal which resembles Tonkin natural musk adding a creamy and musky effect. Particularly interesting effects can be obtained at low levels with floral, fruity and gourmet compositions. It is however incredibly persistent and, arguably, one of the best known fixers in perfumery. More animal odor than most synthetic musk.
